Recently, the Indian Gold Union Organised the National Inter-School Golf Tournament at the Qutub Golf Course which saw the participation of 160 students from 47 elite schools of Delhi. Normally, golf is taken a gentleman’s game, and kids have nothing to do with it. But this tournament proved such notion utterly wrong. The students showed amazing enthusiasm and curiosity to know deeper aspects of the game which made Tiger Woods a billionaire. The tournament inspired schools to take golf seriously and give students platform to play it. The aim was to promoter golf at grass root level. Parents were very happy and hoped that now schools will also encourage golf among students.
