amity international school, push vihar students (class iv) about the need to protect dying species and nature
To sensitise students (class IV) about the need to protect dying species and nature, the school held a special event. The highlight of the event was a skit which was loaded with many messages about the topic. The students showed their concerns about wild life, nature and environment. According to them, man must stop pillaging natural resources to fulfill his greed and desire. He should live as nature intended. His living and doing business in the world should be need-based. He must stop consuming too much, or increasing his carbon foot prints. Due to his actions, other species like tiger, birds and fish are becoming less in numbers. Several species like cheetah cannot be found in India. This is tragic. The skit encouraged people to live in sync with nature and avoid using things like plastic bags, which suffocate the drainage system as well as earth. It also talked about the slow vanishing of Royal Bengal Tiger, passenger pigeons and dodo birds. The students pledged to preserve nature and protect all species.
