Even saints like Baba Ramdev and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar are personally cleaning Yamuna River in Delhi. The river which once used to clean people’s body, heart and mind now itself needs cleaning. The oxygen level of the river has dropped to the lowest level, and it wouldn’t be wrong to call it a gutter or a dead river. Recently, on the occasion of Earth Day (April 22), Ravi Shankar’s the Art of Living launched a competition “Sri Kriti; which was a part of its noble initiative “Meri Dilli Meri Yamuna;. The campaign gets able support from DJD, MCD and UNICEF. Around 500 schools participated in the competition. Painting was choosen because it reflects to the best paintings will be given in July, 2010. The list of awards would have cash prizes and 10 other trophies of excellence.
