James Cameron's $300 million fantasy-adventure epic Avatar is creating a great buzz in schools also. Students of various public schools in Delhi are visiting multiplexes in great numbers,and coming out of theatres with a sense of wonder and awe and some inspiration for their own imagination. The 3-D and visual effects are dazzling and set new technological standards. It's a Titanic achievement for James Cameron. The anti-war film bares humans' evil nature and destructive powers. They have destroyed their own planet and now,they want to do the same with Pandora and its people. The film is the most expensive till date. It cost $250 million to make and $150 million to market. James Cameron is back after 12 years. His last film was 'Titanic',the most expensive film of its time. The most daunting problem for him while making Avatar was not to let visual effects overwhelm emotions. He and his team took 6 years to make this mind-blowing film. He invented a fusion camera,especially for this film. James Cameron was a truck driver before he entered Hollywood as a director-writer. He wrote Rambo-II and directed top-watched action films like Terminator I & II and sci-fi films like Abyss and Aliens. The film involved many world-famous designers who spent two years to design nature of Pandora Planet. The dense forest,tall,huge trees,floating mountains,peculiar creatures make the viewing a truly lifetime experience. Every student must watch it to know what is imagination.
