bal bharti public school,grh marg celebrated annual winter carnival
On December 20,the school celebrated its annual winter carnival in which students displayed their talents and concerns about eco-problems. They put up stalls,full with educating posters and slogan-written cards. They spoke about the use of natural materials for bags and other articles which are used on daily basis.The Interact Club Stall taught visitors about the methods to conserve water which is priceless and extremely scarce. They also advocated the reuse of garments which means benefiting environment as well as poor people who need these clothes. The donated jeans and other garments were given to Denim Club of India,an NGO which works for HIV patients. The Indian Council of Child Welfare received many bags of used toys and costumes which will ultimately go to poor kids. A stall was also erected by ITIHAS to showcase India's rich heritage and cultural past.The students also took part in various cultural competitions,displaying their dance and singing skills. The school principal LV Sehgal released the school's souvenir.
