From April 7 to 13, the school organised health – based programmes in association with WHO and Nada India which is a Famous NGO working in health sector. The theme of the event was “Urbanization and Health – 1000 cities, 1000 lives’’. The event saw a massive response from students and teachers. Nada Chairman Dr Suneel Vatsyayan offered a presentation on the topic “Harmful effects of alcohol and world consensus;. He motivated students never to touch alcohol and generate a support for its banning. The event was co-ordinated by RK Ojha (head, Fine arts Dept), Murli Menon, Suteen Bala (Eco club incharge) and JP Upadyaya (head, biology Dept) students also helped them to make the event a success. School principal Dr Shakuntala S Jaiman also talked about the value of good health. The event saw many health experts interacting with the students. Students distributed literature among neighbourhood people, telling them about health and diseases.
