Delhi Nursery admission schedule dates issued by DOE
New Delhi:- DOE(Directorate Of Education) issued Delhi Nursery Admission Schedule and Guidelines On 16/12/2011 to schools for conducting admissions to Pre-Schools/ Pre-Primary/Class-1(entry level) for session 2012-13.
Commencement of admission process --- 02-01-2012
Commencement of availability of admissions application--- 02-01-2012
Last date of receipt of applications --- 16-01-2012
Last date for displaying the list of selected students --- 01-01-2012 (Including waiting list)
Last date for displaying the 2nd list (If any) --- 29-02-2012
Closure of admission process --- 31-03-2012
DOE also adviced that every school shall have unform dates of commencement and closure of admission process. In case of deviation from the above schedule(except the date of commencement an closure of admisson 1.e 02.01.2012 and 31.03.2012 respectively), the school shall intimate it to office of the Director of Education through the concerned Deputy Director of the district by 16:00 hours on 31.12.2011. The intimation shall be accompanied by reasons for the deviation.
Each school also ordered to display the admission schedule on its notice board/ website and also on official website of Directorate of Education through the link provided by the department. All schools also ensures that no child under Economically Weaker Section is denied admission on neighbourhood/distance basis so long as the locality of the child' residence falls within the distance criterion devised by the school for the general category children.
All schools are also ordered to send the details of the number of vacate seats under Economically Weaker Seaction & Disadvataged Group to the concerned District Director of Education by 16:00 hours on 06-04-2012. The concerned district will compile the school-wise status of vacate seats under EWS & Disadvantaged Group category and forward the same to the Act Branch at HQs latest by 10.04.2012 so that the stps to fill all the vacate seats can be taken.
