We often read news about school children being bullied, harassed, abused and neglected at schools and homes. To make them aware of their rights and how to exercise them, Delhi Police has launched to kid-friendly portal www.dpjju.com. The Site will offer advice and e-suggestions to oppressed kids and their parents.Now, they can report about a child in distress with a click of mouse. The juvenile police will see submitted complaints and act fast to rescue such kids from harm’s way. The portal also has a book which will help parents learn facts about child abuse and trauma. Tech-savvy children may learn a lot about rape-dating, misuse of social networking sites by sexual predators and sexting.Police chief Y.S. Dadwal and acting chief justice of Delhi High Court M.B. Lokur launched the website on March, 6 2010. All schools and parents are being informed about the site.
