On April 7, the school observed World Health Day to sensitise students about sanitation, health and wellness. They gathered at a special assembly where they heard health-based speeches. The event began on a practical note as the students did physical exercise under an expert coach. Then they debated health matters. Class VIII students also had an interactive talk with Dr. Rahul Nigam of Simova. Dr. Rahul told them that it is not only physical health which is important. But a child’s mental and emotional health should also be fine for real happiness. The students (VI to IX) took part n poster-making competition, and pointed on health-based topics. Dr. Nigam gave away prizes to the best paintings. At the end, school Principal Vijay Laxmi Singh proposed vote of thanks.
