On Feb 6&7, the school held a national integration programme, “Dharohar”. The chief guest Vir Singh Dhingan (legislator, east Delhi) lit the traditional lamp and was delighted to receive an extremely warm welcome from students and school staff. The list of other high-profile persons included S.K. Nimmi (EO Zone-IV), Saroja (director, Bharti Scouts and Guides) and Geeta Rawat (Joint director, Bharat Scouts and Guides, national head quarter). They also acted as judges.The students displayed an awesome creativity through folk dances of several states and the high-intensity grand finale ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ which praised various facets of states’ culture. But above all, it was an exhibition which found all-round appreciation. Rajasthan won in the exhibition category while Tamil Nadu got the 1st prize in folk dance. The students of class VIII also presented a show ‘Unity in diversity.’The winners were awarded by the chief guest.
