Health ministry is also running a stall at Pragati Maidan on the occasion of International Trade Fair (Nov 14 to 28). Jansankhya Sthirta” (population stabilization) educates people about the need to stop high population growth and methods to achieve it.The exhibition was inaugurated by Union Minister of Health and family welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad on November 14. It has special and free offerings life counseling on HIV/AIDS, counseling on family planning, free health check-up, free eye check-up, laser shows and folk dance and music shows.The stall is also holding on the spot painting contest on Nov 20, 2010 (10 am). Students (5 to 15 year old) are invited to come with colours and brushes to paint on the theme of population stabilization and care free India. There are two groups-group one (up to 10 years old) and group two (11 to 15 years).Students belonging to groups II should come on Nov 21, 2010 (10 am). The painting will be judged by experts and finalists and winners will receive prizes.
