On January 23,the school held an event “youth parliament” to involve students of 5 schools ii a process,similar to the government and opposition parties. The whole event was very enlightening as well as entertaining. The four other schools which sent their students to act as choosen leaders were Deep Memorial Public School,Arunodaya Public School,Mother Teresa Public School and Vivekanand School.Just like parliament,the students were divided into ruling and opposition parties,one sitting at the right and other at the left. They took part in oath-taking ceremony and new ministers were appointed. Then,they discussed various issues in the question hour.The chief guest Najma Heptullah (ex deputy chairperson,Rajya Sabha) was highly impressed with logical and intellectual faculties of the students. The vote of the thanks was proposed by the school captain.
