Delhi Public School, Rohini, played host to an eleven-member German delegation as part of an Indo-German exchange programme facilitated by Max Muller Bhawan in New Delhi. As many as 10 students from Die Loburg, Gymnasium Johanneum, Ostbevern, accompanied their teacher on a three week visit to India from October 21 to November 11, 2011. The students stayed with their “partner-families” and made the most of the Indian social life. To enhance their understanding of Art and Culture of India, the German students were involved in a project on the theme — Monuments of the Medieval Era in India- Stories in Stone. Apart from that, they also attended regular classes at DPS, Rohini. As an extension of the project, they visited Agra, the Parliament House, Akshardham Temple, India Gate and Lotus Temple.
