jaipur book fair and delhi world book fair attract students
Large number of students visited Jaipur Book Fair, which was held in mid-January,2010. This strengthened the positive fact that publishing industry (print) needs not fear the onslaught of digital devices like e-readers or internet. The interest in books is huge, but students need access. This was further echoed by HRD Minister Kapil Sibal who inaugurated Delhi World Book Fair and said that book fair should be held each year and in all cities. Because these fairs inspire reading which is depleting. The Delhi World Book Fair, held each year from January end to Feb beginning, also attracted huge crowds of school students.
