People may call her a child prodigy. And she has certainly proved that the epithet could be used for her. The 12-year old class X student Apoorva Sinha, the little girl from Saidulajab (Saket), has taken the name of her school high under sun. She is one of the youngest novelists in the world. She wrote her First Fiction at the age of eleven.The Tremulous Night”, he first novel was published a year later in Feb 2010. She is highly inspired by Agatha Christie and J K Rowling. She appeared in class X exams this year, and has become a sort of role model in her school and neighbourhood. Girls of her age are in awe of her. She showed symptoms of a writer when she was in class IV, and wrote poems and short stories. Her guide and mentor is her father who acted as a critic also.Like most of the authors, she is a voracious reader and reads a lot of Indian and foreign comics including chandamama and Diamond Comics.Her First novel tells a moving and adventurous story of a little girl (Ashley) who must kill her mother’s killer Gobbler Ditchman. Now she is busy completing her second novel.The school takes immense pride in her and hopes she will be a well-known novelist in future.
