The school held a cultural exchange programme. The 15-day event saw the presence of 15 German students and 2 teachers who remained here from April 3 to 17. The delegates shares several facts with the host students, and were quite impressed by Indian hospitality, traditions and culture. They praised Indian teaching models, and had first hand knowledge about almost everything related to education. They also appreciated Lotus Valley’s Facilities and holistic education methods. Lotus Valley also promised to adopt some of the German education models to remain globally competitive. Around 15 students of Lotus Valley will visit Germany in June 2010 to further strengthen the bond. All these 15 students are hosting German students’ stay at their homes. The school also arranged a Delhi Dekho Tour for the delegates who were amazed to see historical sties like Qutub Minar. They were also taken to Agra, Jaipur and Fatehpur Sikri. They also visited Sai Amrit Spastic society and stayed with the spastic kids for few hours. School principal Madhu Chandra enlightened them about Indian history and culture.
