most of the students of private schools want to study in foreign countries: a survey
A survey was conducted about the students’ habits, aspirations, likings, disliking and their dependence on technologies. The findings revealed that students of private schools (74%) want to go abroad for higher education. Survey covered school of high profile cities like Mumbai and Delhi.Delhi students spend only 25 minutes a day on internet, the survey revealed. Only 9% students in Delhi spend more than 3 hours a day on internet. Most of these students (55%) get only Rs. 500 a month as their.of students access internet at schools. 59% visit cyber café. Most of the students are tech-savvy.Now, this is not a good revelation for India that 74% students are wishing to go abroad to study. India needs to invest heavily on infrastructure, upkeep of the existing colleges, adding stat-of-the art facilities/equipments and quality teachers to attract students of India as well as foreign countries. Education is awful in India. It is crying for evolutionary reforms. Most of the students graduating from India colleges and Universities can’t speak English and thus don’t get good jobs.
