now, students don't need to pay to call cbse helpline
This year, CBSE has started a much-needed and student-friendly helpline to counsel them about exam-related matters. Most importantly, it wanted to remove their unfounded fears, doubts and motivate them. Expert and trained psychologists answer the phone calls.First, this helpline wasn’t free and a calling students needed to pay normal call charges. But on Feb 10, CBSE made it a free call service until exams. The toll-free number is handled by 52 counsellors who tell students about new evaluation method known as CCE. Students could make a free call from anywhere in the country on 1800-11-7002 and know answers. The tele-helpline has become a hit since it was launched on Feb 1. The service would be in place until April 9. The calls could be made from 8 am to 8 pm.
