The students of the school took part in a solidarity ceremony,held by the school in memory of the fallen soldiers and policemen and common people when Mumbai was attacked on 26 November 2008. They prayed for their souls and vowed to defeat terrorism,at all costs. They sent message of peace and brotherhood.They participated in various solemn activities to remember those 3 terrible days. They did candle lighting,wore black bands and held a special prayer.On the occasion,school principal Sikha Singh gave a brief speech,praising the cops and commandoes who fought terrorists bravely,and sacrificed their lives to save innocent people. She asked all students to remain alert all the time wherever they go,and inform cops if they see any suspicious thing or person. She also asked to strengthen unity of the good forces to fight the evil forces.Then,they formed a human chain and remained silent for few minutes to remember those fallen people. The students also took part in poster-making competition and painted on the topics of peace,humanity and ugly face of terrorism.
