The students of the school’s Heritage club were taken on a heritage walk by the school on the occasion of World Heritage Day. The heritage week Found a huge response From student, and they really looked excited as well as concerned for heritage sites’ safety from Vandals and land encroachers. “The Virasat;, as it was called, took them to Nizamuddin Basti where they, to their utter surprise, learned about the rich post of several other ignored buildings. The tour was under a special programme sun by Aga Khan Trust for culture (AKTC). The trust is actively involved in conservation projects at the basti. A film was also screened for the students to make them aware about conservation works. They also took part in a quiz which was based on heritage. It was for the students of classes VIII and IX.
