Spic Macay often holds many types of extra-curricular activities in schools to enlighten kids and develop their artistic and sportive talents. Delhi government has partnered with it now to launch a massive awareness and involvement drives across Delhi schools and colleges. Students are roped in to volunteer as marshals, guides and other workers during the Commonwealth Games which will be held in October, 2010.Shera, the lovely mascot of the games, is interacting with students at various schools these days. This partnership is part of organising Committee’s (Games) youth-activation programme which targets youngsters to get their active involvement for making the games a dazzling spectacle. The Spic Macay is set to rope in 500 schools and colleges and bring Shera to these schools, and will hold short films and photography exhibitions in campuses to promote the Games.
