students of 12 schools display their film-making talent
Delhi’s top schools participated in the film festival held in Delhi on 1st February,2010. The list included DPS Mathura Road,Sanskriti School,Modern School,Shriram School,Springdales,Dhaula kuan,St. Mary’s,Delhi Police Public School,St. Columbus,The Banyan Tree,Blue Bell’s International,Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya.The duration of each film at the FilmIt India Festival was 3 minutes,and they talked about conservation of cities’ heritage. The students of VI,VII,VIII classes took part in the festival,which saw the presence of the chief guest Sharmila Tagore. She was impressed with the great talents of the students and motivated them to become more creative.The participating students wrote their own scripts,shot videos,edited them and mix them with sound and music. All the films were highly informative,encouraging and entertaining. They made 130 short films and 12 of them got screened at the festival.
