students of indian schools take part in aman ki aasha campaign
The Times of India and a Pakistani daily Jung have been running a friendship campaign Aman Ki Aasha for few months. Many famous personalities of the two countries have contributed for the cause – to bridge the divide between two peoples.School students of India and Pakistan have also joined hands to strengthen the campaign. They are signing up and writing messages of peace and brotherhood on thousands of handkerchiefs and exchanging then. Rope of Respect is the dedicated campaign for these children.The list of slogans included “Live Life with harmony and Peace”, “Promote Peace, not Pieces” and “Let the tradition of love move on to make the world a better place.The peace chain initiative under Aman ki Aasha campaign is generating a positive buzz in all schools, and students are more than willing to love their neighbours.
